A report from the indystar (online) – Police say an Upland man fatally shot his wife in her mother’s home Thursday morning, then held police at bay for hours before shooting himself. Recently the wife had filed a police report that alleged some act of intimidation by her husband.
She filed for divorce back on Feb. 11; that case was still pending in Grant Superior Court at the time of her death. All our divorce lawyers and attorneys are sensitive to the extreme stress a divorce can bring. We do all we can so that terrible incidents like this are avoided.
